Creating your own E-zine or newsletter

Reasons why you need to publish an e-zine (electronic magazine or newsletter):

You can take a look at my online ezine by subscribing at http://www.shuttermom.com/read.htm. Notice that I have a place at the top where people can sign up to subscribe to my ezine. I usually get anywhere from seven to ten new signups per day.

This is so important because it has been proven that most people DO NOT make a purchase the first time they visit a website. You need to remind them that you are out there and provide them with a way of viewing your info again and again. It is also a great way to announce sales, specials, and new products.

If you need help with creating your ezine, I highly recommend you visit the following link: http://tinyurl.com/7sx9m. Alexandria Brown is known as the “ezine queen” and her information really helped me with my ezine. She tells you EVERYTHING you possibly need to know on the subject.

Remember, 1shoppingcart.com can help you with the management of your ezine. They provide the signup script to place on your website, and you can even create and send your ezine or newsletter from the shopping cart management website. Click here to find out more: http://tinyurl.com/dmwgf

Here is another great ezine source: Constant Contact! This is the company I've been using for the past year. It is very easy to set up your newsletter and mail it out to your list. Check them out by clicking the image on the right of this page.

If you want to get started right away with an ezine, simply devote one page of your website to be your ezine page. Remember, check out my shuttermom.com ezine for an example (www.shuttermom.com/read.htm). I do a weekly ezine. You might want to start out doing a monthly one at first.
